【海外オークションebay輸出】大きさと重量で悲惨な思いをした話！
杉原です。
ebayで売れている商品をリサーチしていると
気が付かないうちにＥＭＳで送れないほど
大きな商品を出品していることが良くあります。
というか、僕の場合は良くありました。
「売れた！」と喜んで商品を仕入れて発送代行会社から
事情を聞いてビックリ！！！！！
重量または大きさです。
ご存じのとおりＥＭＳで送れる重量の最大は地域によって
異なりますが、20kgもしくは30kgまでです。
これに引っかかった商品はいままで１つだけでしたが、
大きさでは10回くらい引っかかったことがあります。
ＥＭＳの大きさの基準は３辺の合計ではなく最長辺＋外周です。
その長さは米国では2.75m以内、他の国では3m以内
といったように国ごとに異なります。
また、最長辺の大きさはにも1.5m以内といったように制限があります。

ではどんな商品がその制限にこれまで引っかかって
発送できなかったのか？
今回はその事例をご紹介したいと思います。
１、釣り竿
釣り具といえば「釣り竿」です。
釣り竿は使用しないときや持ち運ぶときには収納します。
収納すると1.5m以内に収まると思いきや、収納して梱包した
時の長さが1.5m以上ある商品がありました。
出品するときは要注意です！
２、おもちゃの乗り物
子供が乗ることができるバットマンカーです。
普通にＥＭＳの大きさの上限最長辺＋外周が3ｍを超えていました。
おもちゃといえども、重量や大きさのチェックは必要です。
３、こたつ
掛け布団とセットで売ったら30kgを超えていました。
当時は何も考えていませんでした。
こちらも要注意です。
４、自転車
本体を梱包した時の大きさがＥＭＳの制限を超えていました。
この商品はバイヤーがどうしても送って欲しいとお願いされたので
FedexやDHLなどに送料を聞いたら20万円かかると言われました。
なので発送を断念しました。
このように大きさや重量に関して何も考えないで出品すると
痛い目に合うことがありますので注意してくださいね！
